Hillary Finds Food

This was my first experience trying Japanese shabu shabu and it didn't disappoint. I went for the Wagyu beef set menu as recommended by the waitress who was so lovely and friendly. The portion was perfect and matched well with the pricing.

I surprisingly enjoyed the chicken karaage. It had the perfect crisp whilst staying juicy. The salmon sushi was average as anticipated. We opted for the spicy miso and soy milk broth. The spicy miso definately was my favourite out of the two but keen to try the other options in the future. The meat was fresh and clean. Can't go wrong with Wagyu!

I look forward to returning back and trying a different broth next time!

My partner and I have had Chinese Hot Pot a few times and were keen to try a Japanese version. We were really excited to hear about Momo Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu. The meat was fresh, the ingredients were all presented nicely and tasted great in their signature broths. I can't handle too much spice and my partner is the exact opposite, so its perfect having the double broth option. The yin and yang bowl design is fitting for our contrasting tastebuds 🤣
